Brittany Spaniel Information and Care
We own a pure breed Brittany Spaniel named Charlie. He is a great dog but very high energy and sensitive.
Care : Brittany Spaniels are high energy dogs and need regular walks and a good sized yard to play in.
Personality : Full of personality. Charlie our Brittany Spaniel is a nudger and likes to nudge you when he needs attention.. Which is all of the time. Charlie loves his dog companion Shelby a lab mix. They get along great.
Dog park: Charlie loves the dog park and loves to sniff ass and sometimes indulge in humping which can get him into trouble with other dogs. Fights sometimes break out because Charlie is humping and annoying other dogs.
Unusual or Unique behavior : Charlie likes to paw at water bowls. Having a large water bowl in the house can lead to a big puddle of water on the floor. We have self-refilling water dish outside. Charlie drinks a lot of water. I attribute his high water consumption to his high metabolism.
